15 questions to the million

Answer 15 questions to win $1,000,000. Safe havens at question 5 and 10. Walk away at any time with what you have banked.

Classic

The original format: fifteen questions of rising difficulty, two safe havens, four lifelines and the freedom to walk away with your winnings at any moment.

You face fifteen multiple-choice questions, each with four possible answers. The questions start easy and get harder as the money grows, from $100 for question 1 up to $1,000,000 for question 15.

Pick an answer, then confirm it as your final answer. If you're right, you climb one rung of the money ladder. If you're wrong, the game ends.

Safe havens

Questions 5 and 10 are safe havens. Once you answer them correctly, $1,000 and then $32,000 are guaranteed — a later wrong answer drops you back to the last safe haven, not to zero.

Walking away

Before you lock in an answer you can walk away and keep everything you have banked so far. Sometimes the smartest move is to stop.

The clock

With the default show pace you get 30 seconds for questions 1–5, 45 seconds for questions 6–10, and unlimited time for the last five. You can change or turn off the timer in the game settings.

About the questions

Questions are written by an AI question writer natively in each language and checked automatically. Around 40% are about the culture where your language is spoken. If a question looks wrong, use “Report a mistake” after the answer is revealed.

Four lifelines, one use each

When you're stuck, a lifeline can save your game. Use them wisely — the hardest questions come last.
